Credo, Part 4: Fr. Killeen examines the Incarnation

Fr. Andrew Killeen, the parochial vicar at Sacred Heart, was the guest speaker for Part 4 of our on-going series on the Nicene Creed. In the talk, he examined the phrase: “For us men and for our salvation
 he came down from heaven,  and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,  and became man.

Back-to-Basics: Dcn. Adam Conque examines the Nicene Creed – “I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ …”

In Part 3 of our look at the Nicene Creed, Dcn. Adam Conque examined the proposition “I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, …”. His talk was part of the Back-to-Basics lecture series. The next talk, given by Fr. Andrew Killeen on Dec. 13, will explore the proposition “By the Holy Spirit he was incarnate of the Virgin Mary …”. All the talks start at 5:30 pm and are held in the Family Life Center (1220 W. Dardeau St.). Everyone is invited.

Fr. Dubroc examines Nicene Creed: “I believe in one God”

Nearly 40 people turned out to listen to Fr. Blake Dubroc, Director of Seminarians and Vocations for the diocese, examine the first article of the Nicene Creed: “I believe in one God….“. The lecture is the first in a series this season on the Nicene Creed. The next talk will be Monday, Nov. 8, at 5:30 pm, by Dcn. Adam Conque.
