Our Lady Queen of All Saints, located in Ville Platte, LA, is a Roman Catholic Church in the Diocese of Lafayette. It is under the care of Bishop J. Douglas Deshotel (who is from Basile). Our pastor is Fr. Mitchell Guidry. For our address and phone number, see our Contact page.
It’s the time of the year for our high schoolers to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. At the next Back-to-Basics talk on Wednesday, April 19, Fr. Mitch Guidry will take a close look at this important Sacrament of Initiation.
He will also look at some of the upcoming Feasts and Memorials, including Fr. Damien of Molokai, St. Gianna Beretta Molla, and the Fatima visionaries.
The talk will be at 5:30 pm at the Queen of All Saints Family Life Center.

When is vacation bible school?
July 9-13. Registration ended earlier this month.
This is Mona Simon, I left a message last week for Father Guidry to call me when he had a chance. I am wondering if he got the message. I need to talk to him about something. Thank you for your time. My cell # 337-207-6996
May God bless!
Mrs. Simon,
Your message was sent to Fr. Guidry. However, because it is Lent and his responsibilities to our parish and Sacred Heart School where he teaches have increased, he probably hasn’t been able to get back to you. If it is a serious need, please call the parish office at 337.363.5167 to let the secretary know what it is so that she can relay it to Fr. Guidry. Thanks!
Fr Guidry

I listen faithfully to Fr. Guidry’s weekly homilies on the internet . My suggestion would be to have a glossary of sermon content to refer to in a time of special need. Father Guidry, an abnormality in his reference to the Church and its challenges today.
Mr. Fruge,
Thanks for your kind words. I’ll be sure to let Fr. Guidry know. Also we’ll see what we can do about making the content more visible.
I would be Honored to be lector for 10:30 mass Easter Sunday
Father Guidry’s 4th of July sermon was excellent and I would like a written copy of it. It had some great recommendations on how to defined the faith with rash reasonable statements to give to those who have bought into the unreasonable culture we are now in. Please email me a copy. Thanks
I’m sorry to report that we don’t have a written copy of the homily from July 4. Fr. Guidry usually makes some notes that he uses, but he doesn’t write out the whole sermon. However, the sermon is available to listen to on our website: http://www.olqas.org/sermons
