Fr. Sibley explores the “failure” of Humanae Vitae

At the recent Back-to-Basics lecture, guest speaker Fr. Bryce Sibley explored a theme underlying the problems with our culture’s devaluing of sex. More than 60 people listened to him discuss how Pope St. Paul VI’s encyclical, Humanae Vitae, will be a “failure” until we recover the sacred sense of sex.

Fr. Sibley was parochial vicar here in Ville Platte at Sacred Heart Church about 15 years ago.
